Salesforce Task Sync

Turn qualified calls and explicit commitments into traceable Salesforce activities and tasks.

9 min readUpdated 25 Sept 20264 guides in this section

A reliable Salesforce integration separates factual call activity from sales action. The platform records what happened during the call; Salesforce owns assignment, pipeline movement, and the human follow-up workflow.

Connection prerequisites

  • A Salesforce integration user with least-privilege access
  • Approved object and field mappings
  • A stable external identifier for leads, contacts, and opportunities
  • A credential storage and rotation plan
  • An owner or queue for rejected, unmapped, and failed records

Event-to-object mapping

Reliable write sequence

  1. 01

    Resolve the Salesforce record

Look up the approved lead, contact, or account using stable external identifiers.

  2. 02

    Check the event marker

Use the external event id to detect an already-created task.

  3. 03

    Create the activity

Write the call or qualification activity and capture the Salesforce record id.

  4. 04

    Store the delivery marker

Commit the event id, call id, and resulting Salesforce id for reconciliation.
